Meet the AARP Maine Team and More!
If you can spot a scam, you can stop a scam. Join Phil and Pam each month for fraud prevention tips that stop scammers in their tracks.
Through two weekly programs, a meditation moment and morning yoga, we hope to give you the (virtual) space to center your mind and body so that you’re ready to tackle everything life throws your way.
A core tenet of AARP is the belief that volunteer service is one of the most important and valuable contributions a person can make to their community. AARP Maine’s Executive Council is a group of volunteer leaders from Maine’s communities who hold that same core value.
AARP is the nation’s largest nonprofit, nonpartisan organization dedicated to empowering Americans 50 and older to choose how they live as they age. We have a membership of over 200,000 in Maine and almost 38 million nationwide. We envision a society in which everyone ages with dignity and purpose.
You have a lifetime of experience to offer. Why not share your talents right here in Maine? Through outreach, advocacy and service, AARP volunteers and staff work together to enhance the quality of life for Mainers of all ages.
