For 90 years Social Security has delivered for Marylanders. Lets pledge to keep it strong for another 90 years and beyond.
This summer, AARP is joining with communities across the country to celebrate that legacy, while rallying public support to protect its future.
The quick-action projects are aimed at making communities more livable for people of all ages, with a focus on the needs of older adults.

AARP members and their families are invited to come out to the Calvert Marine Museum in Solomons on Saturday, April 7 from 10 am to 5 pm for a fun day filled with new, exciting exhibits! Stop by the AARP table and show your membership card to our volunteers for a free gift (while supplies last), and learn what AARP is doing locally in the community. Brand new exhibits include "Dinosaurs of Maryland" and a new recreational playground exhibit.

If you've been keeping up with our major projects this year, you know that we have two large-scale, volunteer-driven events on the horizon in 2018: our annual spring food drive at the end of April, and our first intergenerational playground project breaking ground in Baltimore on May 10!
