Free Shredding and Medication Disposal Event/Evento gratis de trituración y devolución de medicamentos

Join AARP New Jersey for a free shredding and medication disposal event on Sunday, October 20, 2019.

AARP, in conjunction with the Perth Amboy Police Department, the City of Perth Amboy and the Perth Amboy Redevelopment Team for Neighborhood Enterprise and Revitalization (P.A.R.T.N.E.R) will be hosting a shredding event and a prescription medication take-back day.

Bring any confidential paper documents to our event, and we'll shred them for free. All attendees are invited to drop off any unused or expired prescription medications anonymously, no questions asked. For safety reasons, the Project Medicine drop box can only accept solid medications such as pills, patches, inhalers and similar objects and cannot accept liquids, medical waste, or syringes.

AARP, en colaboración con la ciudad de Perth Amboy y el Departamento de Policía de Perth Amboy, presentará un evento donde podrás triturar tus documentos y devolver medicamentos recetados. Trae tus documentos confidenciales a nuestro evento y los trituraremos gratis. Los asistentes también pueden devolver de manera anónima cualquier medicamento recetado sin usar o expirado. Por razones de seguridad, el buzón de recolección de medicamentos solo acepta medicinas sólidas, como píldoras, parches, inhaladores y objetos similares, y no acepta líquidos, desechos médicos o jeringas.
