Harlem Nights: Sugar Hill to Sugar Hill is a curated, immersive art-and-costume gala celebrating the glamour, brilliance, and joy of the Harlem Renaissance—connecting Harlem’s iconic Sugar Hill with Newark’s vibrant Black arts movement. Guests will experience an unforgettable night of visual art, fashion moments, live jazz, spoken word, and a lively dance floor.
The evening will flow as follows: Red Carpet and Cocktail Hour, Art Exhibition and Welcome Remarks (HFAS & NSH Leadership), Live Jazz (Part I), Spoken Word and Performance Interlude, Harlem Renaissance Fashion Walk, Live Jazz (Part II), Open Dance Floor with DJ, and Community Toast and Honoree Recognition.
