Come Join Us at the Lincoln Park Music Festival in Newark from July 23rd - 27th, 2025!

AARP NJ is partnering up with the Lincoln Park Music Festival to teach you about Fraud.

AARP Newark’s Fraud Bingo is a fun, fast-paced, in-person game that combines community engagement with scam awareness education. Held during the Lincoln Park Music Festival, this interactive experience invites attendees to play a bingo-style game where each square corresponds to a fraud fact, red flag, or scam prevention tip.

Participants learn how to spot and avoid common scams—like government imposters, romance scams, or phishing—while enjoying a friendly and engaging atmosphere. As players fill their cards, they not only compete for small prizes but also gain valuable knowledge to protect themselves and their loved ones.

This initiative is part of AARP’s broader fraud prevention efforts across Newark and aims to make learning about fraud accessible, relatable, and fun.

We will also be offering the chance to win one of several household and wellness-themed prizes during the Lincoln Park Music Festival from July 23–27, 2025. Prizes include cookware sets (valued at approximately $194.39), back massagers ($60), a robotic vacuum ($156), air fryers ($106.61), air purifiers ($44.11), emergency kits ($75), and toolboxes ($71.41).

To enter, individuals must register online or in person at the AARP NJ booth at 1 Lincoln Plaza, Newark, NJ 07102. One entry per person. Winners will be selected through a random drawing held each day between 11 AM and 3 PM. All winners will be notified via email and/or telephone call and do not need to be present at the time of the drawing to claim a prize. The sweepstakes is open to U.S. legal residents age 18 or older. AARP employees and their immediate families are not eligible.
