AARP is hosting a telephone town hall on Tuesday, Nov. 12, to help caregivers across the state learn to better balance their work and personal lives with their caregiving duties.

Callers will be able to participate in the conversation and ask questions during the event, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.

More than 62,000 state residents serve as caregivers for friends and loved ones.

This is the third in a series of town halls from AARP North Dakota. The first, held in March, focused on resources for caregivers, and the second, held in July, explained North Dakota’s new Caregiver Advise, Record, Enable Act. The law makes it easier to take care of patients at home after they’ve been discharged from the hospital.

Visit aarp.org/nd for more information and to register for the November telephone town hall.
