AARP Did Not Authorize or Participate in Production of American Bridge 21st Century PAC Trump-Biden Mailer

AARP Pennsylvania State Director Bill Johnston-Walsh released the following statement today in response to American Bridge 21st Century PAC’s citation of AARP and use of AARP’s logo in a political mailer on the presidential campaign and positions on the candidates’ approach to health care. Johnston-Walsh said:

“AARP did not authorize or participate in the production of America Bridge 21st Century PAC’s mailer, which includes the unauthorized use of AARP’s logo. AARP has a proud 34-year history of non-partisan voter engagement and does not endorse or oppose candidates, nor does AARP make contributions to political campaigns or candidates. We encourage all Pennsylvanians to find out where the candidates stand on the issues they care about so they can make own decisions in this election.”
