Learn How to Identify Fraud and Scams at Aiken Event

You are enjoying a nice family dinner at home, your phone rings with an unwanted solicitation or someone comes to your door to “sell” you something. This scenario happens more and more and sometimes the person on the other end is trying to scam you, obtain your personal information, or take advantage of you.

Join AARP South Carolina and the South Carolina Department of Consumer Affairs for a FREE seminar May 6, 2015 in Aiken on how you can protect your identity, learn about the latest scams, and become an informed consumer. AARP and Consumer Affairs will be arming Aiken County residents with the tools they need to spot and avoid fraud and scams so they can protect themselves and their families.

When: Wednesday, May 6, 2015

Where: USC Aiken campus 471 University Parkway in the Penland building Room 106. Parking Lot B will be the best choice.

Time: 10 a.m until 1 p.m. with a free box lunch
