Funding awarded for quick action projects in Brooke, Pocahontas and Taylor counties
AARP and Toyota Motor North America (TMNA) have teamed up to provide a helping hand to homebound West Virginians struggling in the COVID-19 pandemic, delivering a vehicle to Putnam County Aging Program, Inc. that will serve as a huge boost to the aging services provider’s outreach efforts in the community.
AARP West Virginia is conducting a statewide search for the position of State President. This is a high-level volunteer position that offers a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to utilize your considerable skills and experience to make a positive difference in the lives of West Virginia residents age 50-plus.
As West Virginia’s population grows older, a recent AARP West Virginia survey finds that an overwhelming number of West Virginians support home and community-based services; critical programs that promote greater responsiveness to the needs of older West Virginians.
