On June 29th, the Bronzeville Area Residents' and Commerce Council (BARCC), along with sponsors AARP Illinois, Alderman Burns and Alderman Dowell, will host the 10th Annual Historic Bronzeville Bike Tour. The bike tour beings at 8 AM and ends at 1 PM at 51st and King Blvd. Cyclists will ride a 16-mile course through Historic Bronzeville, complete with music and recorded speeches of famous residents such as Nat King Cole, Ida B. Wells-Barnett, Minnie Riperton and Louis Armstrong. Cyclists will also have the opportunity to sample food from local eateries. Join us for this unique opportunity to celebrate historic Bronzeville - and get some exercise too!

NOTE: Riders must be 13 years or older and ALL riding participants must wear helmets. There will be NO exceptions.
Tickets may be purchased in advance for $25 on www.barccbiketour.eventbrite.com or at Ain't She Sweet Cafe (526 E 43rd St.) or at C'Est Si Bon Cafe (643 E 47th St.). Tickets may also be purchased at the start of the Tour for $35.
