Established in 1997, the Arizona State Office of AARP was originally located in downtown Phoenix. We now are located on North Central Phoenix.

Serving over 900,000 members in the state, AARP Arizona is working to enhance the quality of life for all Arizonans as they age.

Priority advocacy issues include:

Long Term Care: In Arizona, AARP is working to protect services that provide a safety net for adults who are frail and vulnerable, like home and community based services, respite and adult day care.

Social Security and Medicare: AARP in Arizona is working to strengthen and protect Social Security and Medicare for current and future generations of Americans.

Caregiver Support: The state office of AARP is working to ensure that more Arizonans receive the services they need to live independently in their homes and communities.

Utilities: AARP Arizona is working to keep utility rates accessible and affordable for all Arizonans.

Consumer Protections: AARP continues to endorse and promote legislative, regulatory and community education to protect consumers against predatory lending practices.
