Statement of AARP California State Director Katie Hirning on Governor Brown’s May Budget Revision:

“AARP is pleased that Governor Brown and Health & Human Services Secretary Diana Dooley are committed to expanding Medi-Cal by January 2014. On behalf of our 3.1 million members in California, AARP strongly supports Medi-Cal Expansion, and we look forward to working with the Administration and the Legislature to fully implement the Affordable Care Act in California.”
