AARP is teaming up with Arlington Neighborhood Village and Arlington Central Library to bring you Staying Home: Making Smart Choices for Easy Living. This free community workshop includes a panel of experts will share practical tips to minimize the financial costs of home modifications, avoid frauds and scams, and learn about local resources available.

Arlington Neighborhood Village (ANV) is a volunteer-driven, non-profit organization dedicated to helping older residents of Arlington County, Virginia continue living in their own homes — safely, independently, and with an enhanced quality of life.
Since April 2014, Arlington Neighborhood Village has been serving residents throughout the county who are 55 and older. Adult volunteers of all ages provide transportation and shopping assistance, access to social and cultural activities, health and wellness programs, simple home repairs, as well as information on a host of professional and social services.
The Arlington Public Library provides access to information, creates connections among people and promotes reading and culture--for every Arlingtonian. The Arlington Public Library is committed to building a sustainable community by providing information, promoting the pleasure of reading and providing welcoming facilities for learning and discourse
