Are you over 50 and searching for a new job? Retool, recharge and reinvent your job search by attending the free 50+ Employment Expo on Friday, May 17, at the Marriott Bethesda North Hotel & Conference Center (5701 Marinelli Road, Bethesda, MD). Recruiters from dozens of employers, including non-profits, government, healthcare, retail, technology and more will be ready to speak to you!
Ed Redfern from AARP’s National Office will be conducting a workshop on AARP’s “Work ReImagined” campaign, and the AARP Foundation will also host an outreach table with tips, tools and advice on finding employment after age 50. There will also be a keynote address by ABC7’s veteran TV news broadcaster Maureen Bunyan. Overall workshops will include resume writing, interviewing skills, surfing the Web for jobs, changing careers, online applications, and much more.
