We may celebrate love and romance on Valentine’s Day, but sometimes it can make people feel lonely, vulnerable, and isolated. Many turn to popular dating sites looking for love, companionship, and connection. But instead of finding that special someone, they could meet a scammer just waiting for the chance to take advantage of them emotionally AND financially!
We recently met a victim of one such romance scam and she agreed to share her story. So before you sign up for a dating site, take a moment to watch this video and learn how to recognize these scams and protect yourself from fraud before it happens.
