Con artists don’t care how hard you work. They steal billions from Americans like you every year. That’s why we’re arming you with tools and resources to fight back with the AARP Fraud Watch Network.

Stop by Mad Batter Bakery, located at 903 Boyce Dr. in Rhinelander, on Wednesday, October 25 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. You’ll receive a free sweet treat and some information on how to spot and avoid identity theft and fraud so you can protect yourself and your family. Stop in any time during these three hours and spend a few minutes with us. There is no need to register. Just show up and connect with AARP.

This Halloween season – and always – vigilance against scammers is our number one weapon. By taking a few practical steps, you have the power to stop fraud before it happens.

For more information, contact Jeannie Tucker, Fraud Watch Network program manager for AARP Wisconsin, at jttucker@aarp.org or 608-286-6300.
