Tampa Mayoral Race

So does, AARP Florida! Census data shows Tampa has the highest percentage of residents 65+ of any major US metro area, while 30.5% of Tampa’s population is 50+.
AARP Florida is working to create livable communities where people of all ages can enjoy outdoor spaces, easily get around, socialize, and live comfortably.

With the mayoral election coming up on April 23, we will be interviewing the final two mayoral candidates to find out what solutions they have on local issues such as affordable housing, transportation, civic engagement and outdoor spaces.

AARP is providing this information to help Tampa voters make informed decisions on where the mayoral candidates stand on issues that could make their community an even better place to live.
