Join AARP at Friday After 5, a summer-long series of free outdoor concerts held every Friday on the Owensboro, Kentucky riverfront. Friday After 5 is happening this June and continues through September 4th. It takes place from 5pm until 10pm each Friday.
The festival draws more than 50,000 visitors from the tri-state area every Friday After 5.
Friday After 5 was named one of the “Top Ten Summer Festivals” in Kentucky and just won the prestigious Reader’s Choice Platinum Award for “Best Community Event” this year. The festival includes live bands, family events, food and entertainment and a “Toast to the Sunset” at each Friday After 5.
While you’re there, be sure to meet with AARP volunteers in the RiverPark Center lobby.
The festival takes place from RiverPark Center through Smothers Park downtown on the Owensboro Riverfront on the Ohio River.
