Beginning Feb. 1 and continuing through April 17, AARP Foundation is providing free tax assistance and preparation through its Tax-Aide program. AARP Foundation Tax-Aide, celebrating its 50 th year, is the nation’s largest free tax assistance and preparation service. Since its inception, the program has served more than 50 million taxpayers.

The 2018 Georgia Legislative Session kicked off this week, and the General Assembly has already completed four legislative days of its 40-day session. We will see much activity over the coming weeks, and AARP Georgia looks forward to working with volunteers and community partners to advance our legislative priorities.
AARP Georgia State Director Debra Tyler-Horton provides an overview of the faith-based toolkit and its benefits. The toolkit is an online, self-service resource designed for clergy and leaders of faith-based organizations. The toolkit was designed to help faith-based organizations create an impactful ministry for their congregants, members, staff and volunteers who are 50 years of age and older.
