Attorney General Raúl Labrador issued a consumer alert last week, warning Idahoans on the text/call/email scam that claims recipients have missed jury duty and if they don’t immediately pay a fine, they could be arrested by local authorities or subject to even greater costs and penalties. As with many scams, criminals depend on a person’s law-abiding nature to scare them into making a payment, often through a link or QR code.

Two years ago AARP Idaho began offering Movies for Grownups for movie fans around the Gem State. It's an opportunity for AARP members and their guests to enjoy complimentary screenings of Hollywood’s biggest hits. Hundreds of Idahoans have enjoyed a night out on the town watching some of the best movies of the year.
What if all homes could be suitable for anyone, regardless of a person’s age or physical ability? What if a person who wants to live independently, regardless of his or her age or physical ability, could do just that?
AARP members are invited to spend a fun, sociable and informative day at the state Capitol on Monday, February 11, 2019 for AARP Idaho Lobby Day from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
