Beginning in February and continuing until the end of tax season, AARP Foundation is providing complimentary IRS certified tax preparation in Idaho through its Tax-Aide program. You do not need to be an AARP member to use this service.

Boise Community Leaders Celebrated in Newest Title to AARP’s Where We Live: Communities for All Ages
Each month AARP produces an hour long television show that airs on RFD-TV called Rural America Live with AARP. Topics include disaster preparedness, financial security, fraud prevention and the list goes on and on. You can watch previous episodes HERE. The key word is “Live” because this is an interactive program where we answer questions and take calls during the broadcast. We’re currently reaching about 500,000 viewers and getting hundreds of calls each show.

AARP Idaho announces one winner for the AARP Community Challenge, aiming to create change and improve quality of life at the community-level. The winning project was awarded to Idaho Smart Growth. This project is funded through the AARP Community Challenge grant and is set to be completed by November 1, 2017.

Each year AARP honors the legacy of AARP founder, Dr. Ethel Percy Andrus, with the AARP Andrus Award for Community Service.
