Duke Energy wants to raise your electricity bill by 16.3%. This would be a more than $200 a year increase for the average customer who uses 1000 kwh of electricity each month.
AARP says that this rate hike is out-of-line and unjustified when South Carolina residents continue to struggle due to the economy. Take time to voice your concerns and be heard at a South Carolina Public Service Commission hearing.
