Thanks to the more than 4,500 Iowa State Fair goers who stopped by the AARP Take A Stand booth to show their support for the future of Social Security during our celebration of Social Security's 81st anniversary.
Special thanks to the more than 80 AARP Iowa volunteers who manned the booth from 9 am to 9 pm throughout the 11-day fair, meeting and greeting members and the more than one million visitors from across Iowa and around the country who came to the 2016 fair.
It was another great state fair with sunny (and some rainy) days, lots of crazy food-on-a-stick and handsome horses parading.
