Join AARP at San Francisco's Chinese New Year Celebration This Weekend

Come celebrate the Year of the Horse with AARP in San Francisco! We're a proud sponsor of the Chinese New Year Community Street Fair in San Francisco this Saturday and Sunday, February 15th and 16th. The street fair is part of the Chinese New Year Festival and Parade, which has grown into the largest celebration of Asian culture in North America.

Join us at the street fair for activities, entertainment, and food that you'll find at over 80 booths.  We'll have a photo booth, fun giveaways, and helpful resources at the AARP booth on Grant Avenue  between Clay and Washington Streets.

Chinese New Year Community Street Fair
Saturday, February 15 - 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Sunday, February 16 - 9:00am to 5:00 p.m.
Grant Avenue from California to Broadway St.
Pacific Avenue from Kearny to Stockton
Washington and Jackson Streets from Kearny to Stockton
San Francisco's Chinatown

Want to view the Chinese New Year Parade, featuring floats, costumes, firecrackers, and more? It will be held on Saturday, February 15th from 5:15 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. It's been named one of the top ten Parades in the world by the International Festivals and Events Association. If you can't be there in person, the parade will be broadcast live  on KTVU Fox 2 in English and on KTSF 26 in Chinese from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00pm.
