Learn About Educational Opportunities for Older Kentuckians

Graduation

AARP volunteers are helping connect Kentuckians 50-plus with the educational resources they need to land higher-paying jobs.

Tens of thousands of Kentucky Comebackers can complete a GED, college certificate or college degree, or earn new credentials. Many options are either low or no cost to the learner.

Through the Kentucky Work Ready Scholarship Program, for instance, older adults can earn credentials or degrees in high-demand fields such as health care, IT services, logistics and advanced manufacturing. Go to workreadykentucky.com to learn more.

Individuals can receive job training in four months or less through the Kentucky Community and Technical College System. Go to aarp.org/KYComebackers or email kyaarp@aarp.org to learn more.
