FIGHTING FOR YOU

New law helps you access healthcare when and where you need it.
Tools to help relieve caregiver stress are very important. That’s why access to telehealth services is increasingly critical for Kentucky’s 630,000 family caregivers. By using computers and tablets to connect patients with a healthcare professional remotely, telehealth can help deliver care when and where it’s needed.

This year, AARP Kentucky helped change state regulations to break down barriers that were preventing the expansion of telehealth services. Now, Kentucky caregivers and their loved ones have more care options to help reduce unnecessary trips to the doctor or other medical professionals.
