AARP Eye Center
AARP is partnering with the Kentucky Retired Teachers Association (KRTA) to provide former educators with chances to socialize and give back to their communities.
The two organizations are holding educational telephone town halls, virtual movies for adults, informational sessions on financial security and fraud protection, and more.
Charlotte Whittaker, AARP Kentucky volunteer state president, will speak at KRTA’s annual membership convention when the group meets virtually on Monday, April 19.
Volunteers from AARP and KRTA work together on activities including Driver Safety, Tax-Aide, school-supply drives, fraud prevention and virtual fun programs. They also team up for voter outreach and advocacy.
