The Winners Have Been Chosen
The winners of the 2019 AARP Real Possibilities Faith Award have been selected. The Faith Award is an opportunity to recognize the unsung, unpaid heroes of the faith community. AARP’s commitment to volunteer service can be traced back to our founder, Dr. Ethel Percy Andrus, whose motto “to serve, not to be served” has shaped our community service efforts at the national, state, and local levels.
This will be our 3rd and final Real Possibilities Faith Award so we encourage faith organizations from across Louisville to celebrate all of our nominees and the three winners. This year, Grammy Award Winning Singer Regina Belle will present the Real Possibilities Faith Award during a ceremony on Thursday, June 27.
