“Letting Go” is an interactive and engaging course featuring a sequence of virtual activities to help increase AARP’s capacity for greater impact AND to bring more balance to your AARP work and personal life.  How?

  • By letting go of some of the details that take over your day and inviting more volunteers to handle them.
  • Empowering trusted volunteers to “own” important events and initiatives; and
  • Expanding the time you have available to focus on your passions and interests.

The course also provides opportunities to connect with staff and volunteer peers across the country who are working through similar challenges.  Sounds good, right? And to make it even better, flexibility is built in to help you fit the training into your work and play schedule!

NOTE: We strongly encourage staff and volunteers to go through this experience together. Please forward this invite to one or two leadership volunteers or potential leadership volunteers working with you in your community.  (please do not broadcast email this invite, though).
