AARP Eye Center

Many gardeners are interested in using ecologically friendly practices in their yard, but don't know where to start. Join us for this informative session on some ways to grow flowers and vegetables and still protect butterflies, beneficial insects and wildlife. Our speaker, Charles Nardozzi, will explain some ecological soil building methods and ways to protect pollinators and beneficial insects by changing some of their gardening practices. He will also talk about growing native plants (offering some good examples), how to remove invasive plants and offer advices about some pest controls using companion planting, covers and fences.
Join us on May 14th from 9AM-10AM
Registration is free, but required: https://events.aarp.org/ecogarden25
