As we settle into a season of joy and celebration with family and friends, AARP Maine recognizes the wonderful community of amazing volunteers in Maine and colleagues across the country. Because of the collaborative and impactful work this past year, we have so much to celebrate and be thankful for.

We wish you all the best this holiday season!

The AARP Maine Team

To all of our members, volunteers, partners and allies, we wish you and your loved ones a meaningful and safe holiday season, and a happy New Year! I look forward to another year of impact together with you.

Noël Bonam, AARP Maine State Director

To all our members and their families, our wonderful volunteers, our stalwart collaborators and friends near and far, I send warmest wishes for a happy and healthy holiday season!

Jane Margesson, Director of Communications

Wishing everyone and your loved ones a safe and happy holiday season and new year. Thank you to everyone who helped us accomplish all we did in 2023. It is a privilege to be able to work on behalf of older Mainers to make this wonderful state an even better place to call home. I can’t wait to continue working for Maine in 2024!

Bridget Quinn, Director for Advocacy & Outreach

I am so appreciative of all the support and hard work our dedicated volunteers have provided this year. Here’s to a happy and healthy holiday season and a successful 2024!

Wishing all of you a fun-filled December and a healthy and safe New Year 2023. Thank you to all who have helped make Maine more age-inclusive. Special thanks to all of the age-friendly volunteer leaders who have given countless hours to making your communities better places to live. In 2023, among many other things, you have launched new intergenerational programs, advocated for safer streets and accessible pathways, and increased digital equity so that older residents can stay socially connected and meet everyday needs. We are looking forward to working with you to make Maine even more age-friendly in 2024.

Patricia Oh, Program Manager with the University of Maine Center On Aging

Thank you to our exceptional corps of AARP Maine volunteers and our many organizational partners for working with us on important issues impacting the fifty-plus and their loved ones. Good health to all in 2024.

David Torresen, Senior Operations Manager

Thank you to all volunteers and community partners who help us provide support to Mainers fifty-plus. Happy holidays to you and yours! I wish you all a wonderful and bright holiday season.
