Social Security's 89th birthday was on Wednesday, August 14th, and on that very day we had the opportunity to hear AARP Government Affairs Director, Tom Nicholls, talk about Social Security and it's future. Tom was joined by another panelist, Julia Endicott, the Communications Director with Disability Rights Maine.

Over 360,000 Mainers collect Social Security. What is Social Security's future? Is there a path to protect it now and for the future?
