AARP Massachusetts testifying in favor of two bills that would improve Senior Property Tax deferments.
On Thursday, May 4th AARP Massachusetts State Director Mike Festa testified virtually in front of The Massachusetts Joint Committee On Public Health. He urged the committee to pass House Bill No. 2178 and Senate Bill No. 1380 - An Act To Strengthen Our Public Health Infrastructure To Address Alzheimer’s And All Dementia.
Genealogy has become a popular practice for adults who are looking to dive deeper into their family history and learn about their ancestry. AARP MA is partnering with the Afro-American Historical and Genealogical Society - New England, Inc. (AAHGS-NE, Inc.) and the Greater Boston Section of the National Council of Negro Women (GBS-NCNCW), to offer two webinars on the basics of genealogy.
