AARP Eye Center
Here in Georgia, almost 2 million people are giving their hearts as family caregivers every day, helping older parents, spouses and others to live independently. That’s why AARP Georgia advocates for commonsense solutions to support caregivers and their loved ones. Our symposium, Caregiving: What Are the Costs?, will discuss various factors which impact caregivers, including financial, physical and emotional costs, as well as the tools and resources available to continue to care for others. Every year in Georgia, caregivers provide $13.1 billion worth of services to loved ones in need. A panel of thought leaders and a moderator will lead this important discussion reviewing the physical, emotional, and financial costs of family caregiving.
