AARP Mechanicsville Chapter to Host Health Fair

Mechanicsville _ It is important to be proactive in maintaining your overall health and wellness in order to enjoy the benefits of healthy aging. If you’re ready to get a head start on planning a lifestyle that will reap health benefits in the future, AARP Virginia invites you to join the Mechanicsville chapter on Saturday, September 13 for their Health Fair.

People 50+ from Mechanicsville and the Richmond area will gather to learn strategies for health and wellness. Local experts will be available to address key issues in senior health. The event will include health screenings, line dancing and exercising. Guests can also win door prizes and enjoy a healthy snack.

The Health Fair is from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 19, 2015 at the Shady Grove United Methodist Church, 8209 Shady Grove Rd., Mechanicsville, VA 23116.

This event is free and open to the public. Parking is available in the church parking lot.
