The first of two guided bike rides done in partnership with Trailnet takes place in July. On this first ride, you will learn about St. Louis’ rich musical and cultural history. On July 11 th, the President & CEO of Jazz St. Louis will lead this cycling tour through downtown St. Louis.
Fifty AARP members participated in the St. Louis Senior Olympics as part of Team AARP Memorial Day weekend. All told, Team AARP athletes competed in over 100 different events – everything from Washer Toss to Golf to Pickleball.
If you think that the Kansas City's “Get Off the Couch” walkers stopped just because the program ended, you’re wrong. The program, which began two years ago, has not been repeated, but some members of the walking group in Kansas City, including AARP volunteer Joyce Guess, are still walking and talking.
