AARP and the National Association of Letter Carriers Food Drive, Saturday, May 10th.

More than 9 million Americans 50 and older struggle with hunger every day.  But now, you can do something to help less fortunate Garden State residents.  AARP and the National Association of Letter Carriers is holding it’s 22 ^nd annual Food Drive on Saturday, May 10 ^th.  Please donate non-perishable items from your cabinet, or extra groceries and put them out by your mailbox on Friday night May 9 ^th, or early Saturday morning, May 10 ^th.  Your post office letter carrier will pick up the bagged food on Saturday, May 10 ^th.  And if you have extra reusable grocery bags that are laying about, you can bag the groceries in that!

 

It’s time to put your non-perishable donation in a bag by your mailbox.  It will be delivered to a local foodbank.  Join us in this easy convenient way to help New Jeresy’s needy residents.
