In what has become a welcomed yearly resource, the AARP Foundation is again providing free tax assistance and preparation for taxpayers with low to moderate income through the AARP Foundation Tax-Aide program. AARP Foundation Tax-Aide, in its 49th year, is the nation’s largest free tax assistance and preparation service, giving special attention the older population. You do not need to be a member of AARP or a retiree to use this service.

In 2016, NBT's company artists will lead you through the wonder and sparkle of the season with eleven performances over three weekends. Come along on a journey from the warmth of Clara's family home to a land of toy soldiers, mischievous rodents and exotic visitors from faraway lands. Glittering holiday cheer will fill the stage and Tchaikovsky's beloved score will fill the theater as Clara and her Nutcracker Prince dance through a larger than life world filled with waltzing flowers, nimble fairies, and moonlit snow.
The career of Bob Newhart over the past half-century has been remarkable. Most notably for his television career, but Newhart has also had a stellar film, recording and stand-up comedy career. In fact, he's won two Grammy awards for his comedy albums of the early 60's. He's versatile, he's beloved and he's still a force.
Join AARP Nevada and dozens of other local community organizations to celebrate a centuries-old tradition rooted in Latin American cultures, this Friday through Sunday, Nov. 4-6, from 4-9pm at the Springs Preserve. The Springs Preserve will present its colorful ninth annual Día de Muertos (Day of the Dead) event.
