New Changes to Wisconsin Do Not Call Registry

The popular Wisconsin Do Not Call Registry for landline and cell phones helps reduce and deter fraud. Here’s what you need to know about new changes starting Aug. 1, 2014.

Registration will be active the next day. In the past, numbers were not added to the list until the next quarter .

Registration will be permanent. This means Wisconsin residents no longer have to renew their Do Not Call registrations every 2 years. Sign up once, and you’re on the list for as long as you have that number.

Wisconsin will start using the federal Do Not Call list. Phone numbers currently on Wisconsin's list will be automatically switched over.

To verify that your number is registered, or to add a new number, click  here or call 1-888-382-1222 (TTY: 1-866-290-4236). You must call from the phone you want to verify.
