Join AARP NH and the Manchester Historic Society on August 24 (9-10:30 am) for a free, guided historic walking tour through downtown Manchester. The walking tour portion is about 2 miles long and will focus on Queen City’s rich history.

As we mark the 89th anniversary of Social Security, it’s a good time to reflect on its profound impact on American society since its creation in 1935. Signed into law during the Great Depression, Social Security emerged as a foundation of hope and stability for millions of Americans facing economic uncertainty. Today, over 65 million Americans receive the money they've earned over a lifetime of hard work.

Come early August, our natural world is brimming with beautiful colors, enchanting noises and entertaining movement as many plants and animals are at the peak of activity with warmer days and ample food availability.
