Recognize an Exceptional New Hampshire Volunteer

Andrus Award

Know an extraordinary volunteer age 50 or older?

Show your appreciation by nominating him or her for this year’s AARP New Hampshire Andrus Award for Community Service. AARP’s most prestigious New Hampshire volunteer award recognizes individuals who are sharing their experience, talents, and skills in ways that significantly enrich the lives of others.  Last year, AARP recognized 52 outstanding individuals from around the country.

Nominees for the Andrus Award must meet the following eligibility requirements:

  • Nominees must be 50 years or older.
  • The accomplishments, achievements, or service on which the nomination is based must have been performed on a volunteer basis, without pay.
  • The accomplishments, achievements, or service on which the nomination is based must reflect AARP’s vision and mission.
  • Couples or partners who perform service together are also eligible; however, teams are not eligible.
  • The recipient must live in New Hampshire.
  • This is not a posthumous award.
