Please join AARP NH for a live tele-town hall on September 13 at 11 am on disaster preparedness with experts from AARP and the American Red Cross of Northern New England who will discuss the disaster related services and preparedness tools they provide throughout the Granite State.

Jason Tudor, Community Engagement Manager for AARP’s Mega Region of state offices. Jason began his tenure with AARP as the Project Manager for the Hollygrove Livable Communities project in New Orleans, Louisiana. As project manager, Jason worked with resident volunteers to prioritize neighborhood recovery projects after Hurricane Katrina. In his current role, Jason advises state offices in facilitating change at a local level that results in an enhanced quality of life for older adults with a focus on strategies and tactics that build disaster resilient older adult populations. He is also a founding member of AARP’s Disaster Management Community of Practice which leads AARP’s disaster preparedness, response, and recovery strategy for AARP’s 53 state offices.
Jason will discuss AARPs disaster preparedness resources and tools for older adults to include those serving as caregivers.
Stephanie Couturier, Northern New England Regional CEO at the American Red Cross, which serves New Hampshire, Maine and Vermont. With over 14 years of experience Stephanie leads the direction and coordination of Red Cross Humanitarian Services in Northern New England with federal, state, municipal, corporate and community partners.
Stephanie will discuss the American Red Cross Preparedness tips for severe storm safety and flood safety, as well as home fire and extreme heat safety tips.
