AARP New Hampshire needs your help!  We could not be successful with any of our fun events or informational sessions without our volunteers. We are looking for Granite Staters to lend support to our dynamic and dedicated team in Greater Manchester.

Put your time, skills, and experience to work by serving and helping others in your community.  You can make Greater Manchester a better place to live and build new relationships along the way!

AARP New Hampshire engages volunteers with fun and educational programing. Our volunteer opportunities are diverse with roles for everyone interested in getting involved.  Below is a sampling of volunteer opportunities we have available.

State Advocacy – Our Capital City Task Force is your chance to stand up to state legislative initiatives important to the 50-plus around topic areas like caregiving and long-term services and support.

Civic Engagement – Engage in the First-in-the-Nation Presidential Primary without getting tangled in partisan politics. Meet presidential candidates and others running for public office and find out where candidates stand on issues important to the 50-plus community.

Community Core – Get involved at the ground floor and help us shape the work we do in Greater Manchester. We want to hear your ideas on what your community needs, so we can tackle the work together.

Fraud Watch Network – Become a Fraud Fighter and help us spread the word about frauds and scams by giving community presentations.

Life Reimagined –You can facilitate open discussions with people ready for their “What’s Next?” in life as a guide for our Life Reimagined Check-Ups.  Whether that life changes is a dream vacation, career change, or retirement, this planning tool helps break transitions into small, achievable pieces.

Tabling –Be the face of AARP New Hampshire as a tabling volunteer and interact with members of your community at local events. You might find yourself with reserved seating at a movie pre-screening or free tickets to an AARP event.

Interesting in exploring – or just hearing a little bit more – about our volunteer opportunities?  Join us for an orientation at our AARP New Hampshire office this June. We will provide a general orientation to the programs we have available for volunteers and you can dive into all the questions you have for us.
