Fairleigh Dickinson University, Madison, NJ, October 21, 2021 – By wide margins, New Jersey voters 50 and over say the state should continue to make full payments to the public workers’ pension fund and support the rapid rollout of the state’s new retirement savings plan for private-sector workers. According to a new survey from the FDU Poll, in partnership with AARP, older voters also say they aren’t confident they’ve saved enough for their own retirement, feeding into the high-stress levels many older residents are experiencing.
