Virtual Career Fair

As part of a long-standing commitment to provide information, tools and programs to help workers 50-plus take the next step no matter where they are in their career journey, AARP is hosting a Virtual Career Fair on September 20th from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. ET. This live online event provides the 50+ with the opportunity to recharge their job search, and connect with local and national employers – all from the comfort of their own home!

Participating employers, who have signed a pledge publicly stating that they value workers of all ages, must have job openings available at the time of the event. Current exhibitors include American Red Cross, Apple, AT&T, Lord & Taylor, Toys R Us and UnitedHealth Group.

During the Virtual Career Fair, participants will have the opportunity to chat with recruiters, submit résumés, and view job openings; learn how volunteering can help recharge a job search; get timely job search advice during four live webinars and a half-dozen live scheduled chats; play games that help attendees brush up on job search skills (and enter for a chance to win a prize!); connect with other job seekers; and get a sneak peak at AARP’s new Work & Jobs Skills Inventory that will help job seekers polish the digital skills they need to find a job or keep the job they have.
