Did you miss AARP New Mexico Day at the Isotopes Ballpark Sunday? Well AARP members can still enjoy a little baseball, Wednesday, Aug. 14th. AARP Members can receive a buy one, get one free ticket to the Isotopes game against the Salt Lake Bees. Members simply show their AARP membership card at the box office to get the discounted tickets. Also members are invited to a meet and greet with Orbit, the Isotopes mascot, at 5:30 p.m.
AARP New Mexico is partnering with the Albuquerque Isotopes to bring an AARP afternoon of fun and information to the ballpark.
AARP New Mexico is teaming up with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and SCORE Albuquerque. The SBA and SCORE will host an “encore entrepreneur” event in Albuquerque, April 17th, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., at the SBA office, 500 Gold Ave. SW, Suite 11301. AARP New Mexico had a very successful legislative session as several priority measures it supported were signed into law by Gov. Susana Martinez.
AARP New Mexico has selected Jackie Cooper, of Santa Fe, as its next State President. Cooper will replace outgoing State President Louis Sarabia, of Las Cruces, whose term has expired.
