NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT NECESSARY TO ENTER FOR A CHANCE TO WIN. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
1. To Enter: Visit here. Sweepstakes takes place between 12 AM EDT on JULY 8, 2025, and 11:45 PM EDT on AUGUST 1, 2025. Entries must be received during this time and the first person drawn randomly. One entry per person. AARP is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, damaged, illegible, incomplete, or incorrect entries. Entries become the property of AARP, and none will be returned and will be governed by its privacy policy.
2. Eligibility: Sweepstakes open to individuals 18 years of age or older, who are legal U.S. residents. Employees of AARP (“Sponsor”), the MLB Entities, and their respective parent and affiliated companies, advertising and promotions agencies (“collectively, Promotion Entities”) and the immediate family members and members of the same household of those employees and directors are not eligible. “MLB Entities” means the Office of the Commissioner of Baseball (“BOC”), its Bureaus, Committees, Subcommittees and Councils, MLB Advanced Media, L.P. (“MLB”), Major League Baseball Properties, Inc., The MLB Network, LLC, the Major League Baseball Clubs (“Clubs”), each of their parent, subsidiary, affiliated, and related entities, any entity which, now or in the future, controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with the Clubs or the BOC, and the owners, general and limited partners, shareholders, directors, officers, employees, and agents of the foregoing entities. One prize per person.
3. Prizes: AARP Ohio will select one person to receive two (2) VIP tickets for winner and one (1) guest to the Cincinnati Reds home game currently scheduled to take place on August 13, 2025 and an AARP Branded jersey for winner only. Winner will also have the opportunity to throw the ceremonial first pitch. Total package is valued at approximately US $160.
4. Drawing and Awarding of Prize: The winner will be drawn randomly on or about 10 AM EDT on August 2, 2025, from all eligible entries. Drawing and awarding of prize will be conducted by AARP whose decision on all matters relating to this sweepstakes is final. By participating and accepting the prize, the winner agrees to indemnify and hold harmless AARP, the MLB Entities, participating wholesalers, retailers and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates and agencies for any injuries, damages or losses which may be sustained in connection with participation in this sweepstakes and ownership, use or misuse of the prize. If prize is returned as undeliverable, the prize will be forfeited. All expenses related to acceptance and use of prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.
Exact nature and duration of the ceremonial first pitch shall be determined in the sole discretion of Sponsor and Cincinnati Reds and subject to availability. Use of any Major League Baseball game/event/exhibition ticket is subject to the standard terms, conditions, and health and safety policies applicable to the ticket; see reds.com/ticketback for details. Seat locations at the game/event/exhibition and, unless otherwise stated in the prize description, exact game/event/exhibition date shall be determined in the sole discretion of Sponsor. Winner’s guest(s) must be of legal age of majority in their jurisdiction(s) of residence unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Major League Baseball game/event/exhibition dates and times are determined in the sole discretion of the BOC and/or the applicable Club and may be subject to change. The terms and conditions of the tickets awarded as part of the prize will govern in the event a legal game/event/exhibition, as defined by Major League Baseball, is not played or held due to weather conditions, an act of God, an act of terrorism, civil disturbance, or any other reason. Winner and their guest(s) agree to comply with all applicable ballpark and venue regulations in connection with the prize; see reds.com/ballpark for details. Sponsor and the MLB Entities reserve the right to remove or to deny entry to the winner and/or their guest(s) who engage in a non-sportsmanlike or disruptive manner or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other person at the game/event/exhibition. Sponsor and the MLB Entities will not be responsible for weather conditions; acts of God; acts of terrorism; civil disturbances; local, state, or federal regulation, order, or policy; work stoppage; epidemic, pandemic, or any other issue concerning public health or safety; or any other event outside of their control that may cause the cancellation or postponement of any Major League Baseball game/event/exhibition. Major League Baseball game/event/exhibition tickets awarded as prizes may not be resold, offered for resale, or used for any commercial or promotional purpose whatsoever. Any such resale or commercial or promotional use may result in disqualification and prize forfeiture, and may invalidate the license granted by the game/event/exhibition ticket. Participation in the prize event is subject to winner’s (and guest’s) consent to and compliance with all health and safety policies of the MLB Entities.
5. Odds: The actual odds of winning depend on the number of qualified entries.
