Meet Your American Idol in Cincinnati

Fan of American Idol but your favorites always seem out of reach? The American Idol Live Tour is stopping in Cincinnati on Wednesday July 3 and we have tickets and backstage passes to give away for you to meet the Season 13 Finalists! We will be giving away a total of 10 pairs of tickets and backstage passes on our Facebook and Twitter pages. Be sure to stop at our booth at the show to find out what AARP is doing in Cincinnati and learn about AARP's BoomerSuperstar Contest!

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS SWEEPSTAKES.

Eligibility: Sweepstakes open to individuals 45 years of age or older who are legal U.S. residents except Florida, during the sweepstakes. Employees, directors of AARP and its parent and affiliated companies, advertising and promotions agencies and the immediate family members and members of the same household of those employees and directors are not eligible.

Sweepstakes Period. Sweepstakes starts on or about 11 a.m. ET on July 1, 2014 and ends at 3 p.m. ET on July 2, 2014.

PRIZES TO BE GIVEN AWAY BEFORE THE JULY 3 AMERICAN IDOL SHOW IN CINCINNATI: Ten tickets and ten backstage passes (10 pairs) for the July 3 American Idol Tour in Cincinnati, Ohio at the Horseshoe Casino.

Three winners will be chosen by random on AARP Ohio Twitter Page (@aarpohio). Winners will receive two tickets and two backstage passes for themselves and a guest.

Two winners will be chosen by random on AARP Ohio Facebook Page. Winners will receive two tickets and two backstage passes for themselves and a guest.

PRIZES TO BE GIVEN AWAY ON THE DAY OF THE JULY 3 AMERICAN IDOL SHOW IN CINCINNATI: Four backstage passes to July 3 American Idol Tour stop in Cincinnati.

Four winners will win backstage passes the day of the show, July 3, 2014.

FACEBOOK Sweepstakes:

Entrants will “Like” AARP Ohio Facebook Page.

Entrants will leave a comment under Contest Post with the following: This #BoomerSuperstar wants to meet my American Idol at the #IdolTour in #AARPCincy!

Only comments on original AARP Ohio Facebook post will be considered, no “Likes” or “Shares”.

PRE-SHOW WINNERS will be chosen at random on at 4 pm EST, Wednesday, July 2, 2014.

Prizes will be picked up at Will Call the day of show under the name of the winner. Proper ID must be shown to receive prize.

Only one prize per person.

ALL POTENTIAL WINNERS ARE SUBJECT TO VERIFICATION BY AARP WHOSE DECISIONS ARE FINAL AND BINDING IN ALL MATTERS RELATED TO THE SWEEPSTAKES. AN ENTRANT IS NOT A WINNER, UNLESS AND UNTIL ENTRANT’S ELIGIBILITY AND THE POTENTIAL WINNING ENTRY HAS BEEN VERIFIED AND ENTRANT HAS BEEN NOTIFIED THAT VERIFICATION IS COMPLETE.

PUBLICITY RELEASE. Except where prohibited or restricted by law, winner’s acceptance of prize constitutes the winner’s consent for Sponsor or its agents to use and/or publish winner’s full name, country, city and state of residence, hometown, photograph or other likeness, entry, pictures, portraits, voice, testimonials, opinions, biographical information (in whole or in part), and/or statements made by winner, worldwide and in perpetuity for promotional purposes, in any media, without further compensation, notice, review, or approval.

AUTHORIZED ACCOUNT HOLDER. In the event of a dispute over the identity of an entrant, the entrant will be deemed to be the authorized account holder of the e-mail address identified at the time of entry, which authorized account holder must also be the subscriber of the applicable Facebook or Twitter account used by the entrant. “Authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet Access Provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational institute, social sharing site) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the applicable e-mail address.
