Shred Outdated Documents for Free

AARP Oklahoma is hosting three shredding events to help residents safely dispose of outdated documents such as bank statements, tax forms and medical bills.

Oklahomans filed more than 23,500 complaints of fraud and identity theft with the Federal Trade Commission in 2016. Tulsa, in particular, has been a hotbed of identity theft and ranks among the top third of metro areas nationwide for the number of complaints per capita.
