Celebrate Pride with AARP Oregon

June is LGBT Pride month! The month of June was chosen for LGBT Pride Month to commemorate the Stonewall riots, which occurred at the end of June 1969. This year, 2019 marks the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall riots, a pivotal moment in the LGBT civil rights movement. To honor and celebrate this important anniversary, AARP Oregon has several events planned.

 

Join us for one or all of the events listed below to celebrate Pride this year.

Portland Member Happy Hour
Kickoff Pride month with a member happy hour on June 8th at Aztec Willie’s Tacqueria. Connect with other members, volunteers and guests. Register online.

Join us for a special Movies for Grownups screening of Rocketman at the Lloyd Regal Cinema on June 12th. Register online 

Looking Back,Moving Forward
